Founded in 2017, District Hemp Botanicals is the DC area’s premiere destination for CBD wellness products. Our mission is to bring the best plant-based products to our discerning customers in the Washington, DC area and beyond. We carry a wide variety of hemp-derived CBD products including tinctures, topicals, edibles, teas, vape pens, capsules and more. We also carry a full line of CBD products for your pets.
All of the hemp-derived CBD products we carry are carefully selected and tested to ensure they are effective and safe. Our products are third-party tested by each vendor, and then re-tested by our independent third-party testing lab. This ensures the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and overall experience.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Barbara Biddle is an entrepreneur, mom and community leader. Barbara discovered CBD while dealing with postpartum depression-like symptoms and soon began incorporating CBD into her wellness routine. She was so impressed by the positive impact that CBD had on her well-being that she decided she wanted to bring it to the DC area.
Biddle’s commitment to a positive and well-informed customer experience has set the tone for the company. Each product sold undergoes third-party testing and customers are encouraged to return any products at any time if they aren’t 100% satisfied.
In addition to growing District Hemp Botanicals, Biddle is focused on creating regulatory safeguards for small businesses in the CBD industry, supporting research and physician education of the endocannabinoid system, and advocating for consumer safety.
